MATH1002

Linear Algebra

University of Sydney, Australia

About course

Linear Algebra is a fundamental stream of mathematics. It involves vector calculus including systems of linear equations, vectors, and matrices. Whilst not important to succeed in life, the course is necessary to complete Science and Engineering degrees and will be useful in your studies. The course covers geometric vectors, dot and cross products of vectors, lines and planes in space, and many functions of matrices. The quizzes are considered straightforward and rarely involve anything more than simple calculations, while the final exam may prove difficult.
